  • 1.  Sensory Friendly Library Development Advice

    Posted 20 days ago

My capstone project site is developing a sensory room. They have picked the room (it's in a corner). The library director and the Access Services head will meet in late July to discuss the sensory room further, and I will be included in this meeting. Any advice on developing a sensory room?

Reach out to Brett Spencer at Penn State Libraries! PSU has a sensory friendly space and they are very friendly, I'm sure they'd have lots of pointers for you.

    Dear Vaughn,
I will do that! I also forwarded this to one of the other staff members that has been involved in planning for the sensory room.
