Hello all,
Many institutions build diversity residency programs with goals of building representation of people from minoritized backgrounds in their institution and the profession. However, little research has been done on how residency programs have impacted their larger institution's hiring and retention practices. Do you have stories about the ways in which your residency program has affected change in your library and/or broader institution? Alternately, do you have stories about the ways in which your residency program has exposed gaps in your library's practices? We want to hear about them in our survey!
The survey can take as little as 20 minutes to complete, however, many questions have space provided to allow for thorough depth of response, and we hope that you can give these questions due time and consideration. We want to hear your stories; we hope you will take the time to tell them in full.
This survey is being conducted by Jesus Espinoza, Deborah Yun Caldwell, and Anastasia Chiu, on behalf of the ACRL Diversity Alliance Task Force. Your participation in this research is completely voluntary. All data collected will remain anonymous and confidential. The survey will close Thursday, March 24, 2022.

Thank you for your consideration. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Jesus Espinoza, Student Success Librarian at the University of Michigan at ejesus@umich.edu
