    Hello:

I'm working with others on a proposal for the in-person ACRL conference scheduled for March 15-18, 2023 in Pittsburgh.  We are seeking another panelist (or 2) to speak to their experience onboarding into the dean/director role at a wholly new academic institution.  We intend to discuss techniques we've used to get to know the campus, our peers, our reporting lines (both up and down), building trust, and developing a plan. For job changes involving an interstate move, how have individuals oriented their new professional landscape as an outsider, established collaborations with nearby institutions, and developed one's professional network in a new region?

Contact me at enordber@utm.edu to discuss your potential participation in our panel. We hope to incorporate a wide diversity of perspectives and experiences, so will give priority to those from underrepresented identity groups.

    best,
    Erik
