ANSS is looking for a few more people to run for office for next year! These positions are a great way to support the anthropology, sociology, and criminology librarian community and are excellent service opportunities. A majority of ANSS business is conducted virtually and I am happy to talk in more detail about time commitments and any other questions related to these positions.
Vice Chair/Chair elect: 3 year term (1 as vice chair, 1 as chair, 1 as past chair)
- Main duties as Vice Chair/Chair-Elect include attending ANSS Executive Committee meetings and handling committee appointments.
Recording Secretary: 2 year term
- Main role of secretary is to attend and take minutes for ANSS Executive Committee
Member at Large: 2 year term, overlapping with the other Member at Large
- Main duties of Member at Large include co-chairing the membership committee, serving as a member of ANSS Executive Committee, and assist with planning the ANSS Social.
