REMINDER > Invitation to Participate in a Survey of Support for Systematic Reviews by Librarians in Canadian University Libraries

We are conducting a short survey as part of a research project to investigate the current state of librarians' knowledge about, training needs for, and barriers to, participating in systematic reviews at Canadian universities. The survey results will describe the current state of librarians' preparedness to meet systematic review demand and will provide a framework for academic library administrators to better address resource needs. This is a follow-up to our 2014 survey published in the Journal of the Medical Libraries Association in 2015.

We are looking for librarians working in Canadian academic libraries who have conducted a systematic review or provided systematic review support in the past 12-months to participate in this study.  If you meet this criteria and are interested in participating, please consider completing the survey at: https://www.surveymonkey.ca/r/DT6FTQ5 before midnight EDT Monday, May 9, 2022

• The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. 
• The survey consists mostly of multiple-choice questions.

This study has been approved by the University of Saskatchewan Behavioural Research Ethics Board.

Invitation à participer à un sondage pour découvrir le degré de soutien en matière de revues systématiques dans les bibliothèques des universités canadiennes

Nous réalisons un court sondage dans le cadre d'un projet de recherche visant à nous informer des connaissances actuelles des bibliothécaires universitaires au Canada par rapport aux revues systématiques, à leurs besoins en formation et aux obstacles qui les empêchent de participer à de telles revues. Les résultats de ce sondage permettront de voir à quel point les bibliothécaires universitaires sont prêts à mener des revues systématiques et fourniront aux administrateurs de ces bibliothèques un cadre de référence leur permettant de mieux répondre aux besoins en ressources. Ce sondage fait suite à celui de 2014, publié en 2015 dans le Journal of the Medical Library Association (en anglais seulement).

En vue de la participation à ce sondage, nous sommes à la recherche de bibliothécaires universitaires au Canada ayant mené une revue systématique ou l'ayant soutenue au cours des douze derniers mois.
