To provide a forum for fellow PPIRS librarians to share their experiences and ideas about how AI technologies affect their professional work. This group discussion will focus on recent advances in free and subscription generative AI tools that are actively in use by students, faculty, and staff in higher education. As these tools and their underlying technologies are advancing quickly, it is helpful to have an ongoing conversation with our peers to compare best practices and discoveries.

    Our next meeting on Zoom will be Friday, 3/21 at 2pm ET/11am PT.   We hope you can join us!   Our topic for March is "Licensing and how libraries should respond to new AI features in our subscription resources".   You are encouraged to review and share relevant resources on the month's discussion topic beforehand on the working document as well as during the discussion.  Summary notes of what has been covered in past discussions are posted in the discussion group's Connect site. 
     
    We hope you will join on Friday to discuss this important topic with co-coordinators, Ann Cullen and Kim MacVaugh, and fellow PPIRS members!
