    Hello everyone:

The ANSS Nominating Committee seeks your help to identify leaders for ACRL's Anthropology and Sociology Section.

We invite you to send us an email if you are interested in the position of:

    Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect or

    Member-at-Large.

We would also be interested in receiving the names of people you think would be strong candidates for these positions, particularly those who are interested in furthering the section's ongoing work.

The Nominating Committee is currently developing a slate of candidates for the 2024 election, so please send nominations no later than Thursday, July 13th. Our contact information is:

    Triveni Kuchi (Chair): triveni.kuchi@rutgers.edu

    Jylisa Kenyon: jylisadoney@uidaho.edu

The Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect serves for three years: one as Vice-Chair, one as Chair, and one as Immediate Past Chair, while the Member-at-Large serves for a two year term. More detail about the role and duties of these positions is available from the ANSS Manual for Officers, Chairs, and Committee Members.

If you have questions about the positions or the nominations process, please contact the Nominating Committee chair, Triveni Kuchi.

We look forward to hearing from you!

    Sincerely,
    Triveni & Jylisa
