To provide a forum for fellow PPIRS librarians to share their experiences and ideas about how AI technologies affect their professional work. This group discussion will focus on recent advances in free and subscription generative AI tools that are actively in use by students, faculty, and staff in higher education. As these tools and their underlying technologies are advancing quickly, it is helpful to have an ongoing conversation with our peers to compare best practices and discoveries.
You can post to the list by sending an email to ALA-ACRL-PPIRS-AIL-DG@ConnectedCommunity.org or by creating a new discussion post directly in the Connect community.

Please join us for the next PPIRS AI Literacy Discussion Group (PALDG) meeting on Zoom next Friday February 13th from 2-3pm Eastern. The discussion this month will be about using AI to create learning objects and how you have incorporated AI into your information literacy instruction.

You can review and share relevant resources and ideas on this month's discussion topic beforehand on the working document and/or just share ideas during the discussion. Summary notes of what has been covered in past discussions are posted in the discussion group's Connect site

We hope you will join us next Friday for another lively discussion with co-coordinators, Ann Cullen and Kim MacVaugh, and fellow PPIRS members!
