  • 1.  looking for examples of websites meeting WCAG

    Hi all,
My Library systems people are asking me if I could ask for examples of websites that meet WCAG.  We did not specify a level or version of WCAG, but I'll at least say 2.0 or above.  Anyone want to suggest examples that you feel confident do a decent job of meeting any level or version of WCAG 2.0 or above? (I'll hope you know, or the site says which)?  Library websites would probably be ideal, but other websites might be useful too.

    Thanks!
    Adina

Oooh, what a great question! I think this question is tough for several reasons, but I did find a blog post talking about websites that meet AAA requirements. Obviously I can't personally vouch for them, but it might be a good start!

Thanks Anaya!  I appreciate your response.  I figure it's a stretch to find a library website that anyone feels really confident is meeting WCAG, since our sites are usually so huge, but I had to ask.  I got some obvious examples of non-library sites (Webaim, Deque, etc.) on another listserv, so I think that'll probably do the trick.   Maybe I should ask even for library homepages that meet WCAG 2.0 or above (any level), in case anyone has ideas about that?   Now that I think of it, maybe I'll post that some other places too.
