My name is Ron Stafford, and I am the Library Director for a small technical college in South Carolina.  I am passionate about AI and all open educational resources that will help my students succeed, move through their academic programs quickly, and enter the workforce as talent for industry. AI is important for our students living in rural communities because it gives them opportunities they cannot experience in our community.
I look forward to learning how AI can help my students and expose them to skills, ideas, and experiences they would not receive in rural South Carolina.

Hi Ron, welcome!  I can't wait to hear more, especially with your perspective on the relationship between AI and students in rural areas - - Ginny and I will be starting up some discussions towards the end of the month, and I'd love to chat more about the needs and challenges associated with rural-serving institutions.
