Grassroots movement to enable bulk citations downloads in the new Ebsco Interface

    Hi!

I am trying to start a grassroots movement in regards to the new EBSCO interface.  The new interface currently does not have the ability to bulk download the results of a search which is essential to evidence synthesis work.  For me, this would make it nearly impossible for me to search PsycInfo and CINAHL among other databases that I regularly use for ES work.  We were told that the more people who request this enhancement (ER 3057793), the faster it will be added.  So, I'm trying to get people to email EBSCO to request it.

I just went to their general contact page https://www.ebsco.com/contact/general-inquiries and wrote the following message.

    Dear Ebsco,
As an academic librarian who works in evidence synthesis, I would like to request that work on existing enhancement request ER 3057793, which will allow the entirety of a set search results to be exported, be expedited.  This functionality is available in the current interface, and its absence in the new interface will lead us to consider moving our databases subscriptions to different platforms.
    Sincerely,
    Christina Chan-Park , PhD, MPA, MLIS (she/her)

I would like to encourage you to let EBSCO know (feel free to adapt my message) that you would like this enhancement and for whoever in technical services at your library that interfaces with EBSCO to also submit a support case asking for the enhancement.

    Thanks,

    --Christina
