    Hello everyone!

I want to bring a journal opportunity to the listserv's attention. I am on the editorial board of JLOE – the Journal of Library Outreach and Education. JLOE is the premier peer-reviewed, open access interdisciplinary journal to advance library outreach and engagement. JLOE provides a platform to disseminate original research that examines public and community engagement initiatives and stimulates a forum to discuss the methodological and epistemological issues that inform, or emerge from, such projects and programs.

We publish once a year and have many writing opportunities from articles, peer reviewed article, and an idea lab. We also offer a pre-peer review program where we will spend 3 months working with authors to get feedback and build their article before submitting it.

As such, we think that this could be a great opportunity for LIS students to submit the excellent work they are doing and get it published, especially if they are already working in the field. As this next semester gets started, please consider sharing this with your students or even publishing yourself as we have rolling submissions. Academic, public, private, any type of library is welcome!

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me or anyone else from the JLOE team.
