Hot off the PRESSes
Peer review is important to ensure the quality of a systematic search. With that in mind, CADTH has updated the PRESS Checklist form based on your helpful feedback on the beta version shared last year. On the CADTH PRESS Peer Review of Electronic Search Strategies webpage, you'll find other updated checklist forms in both Word and PDF formats plus versions in French and other languages.
Why did we update the forms?
The feedback we received about the earlier version of the checklist form was very positive. The feedback included a request and recommendation for a PDF version. After working with our production artists, we can now provide the checklist form in both Word and PDF formats. The new formats ensure compatibility with many operating systems and software. The PDF version also allows for increased interactions with accessibility software.
What's New?
- The forms: We have new fillable versions of the PRESS Checklist form in both Word and PDF formats.
- Translations: We are grateful to the communities of practice that have translated the PRESS Checklist for their research purposes. We currently have a translation in Brazilian Portuguese, and a translation in Spanish is forthcoming. If you are interested in translating components of the PRESS Checklist into another language than English or French, please email requests@cadth.ca (attention Director, Research Information Services) to seek permission.
- Publication history of the PRESS Guideline: We also now provide a version history of the PRESS Guideline that shows the evolution of the guideline from the original document to the latest edition.
Where Can I Get It?
You can find the latest PRESS Checklist forms and details about the PRESS Guideline on the CADTH PRESS Peer Review of Electronic Search Strategies webpage.
