The EJ (Environmental Justice) Griot Project is a communications initiative that is focused on centering the voices of Gen Z and Millennials when discussing the climate crisis. Participants will be trained to develop and clearly articulate an anti-colonial narrative that accurately represents the African American and Latino communities, which are disproportionately impacted by environmental racism and ecological violence.
The EJ Griot Project will consist of an intensive summer training, which will build capacity for leaders ages 22-40 to become environmental justice ambassadors. Learn more and apply before July 18.
