*** Please excuse cross postings. ***

The Science and Technology Section (STS) of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) invites you to join us for our FREE virtual program on Monday, July 11, 2022, 3:00pm-4:00pm EDT: STS Liaisons Committee's Annual Liaisons Forum.

STS maintains a liaison program to encourage STS members to report on the meetings and activities of science and technology organizations. Our liaisons have the important role of helping to develop connections between librarians and other STEM professionals. In addition to our STS liaisons, ALA and ACRL maintain their own liaison programs to other non-scientific organizations.

During this free virtual forum, several STS liaisons will share their experience working with their respective organizations and report oncurrent key activities that might be of interest to STS members. The liaisons will also discuss service opportunities and resources available to librarians in the different organizations. Speakers so far include:

    • Roxanne Bogucka speaking about AAAS

    • Linda Eells speaking about USAIN

    • Chrissy Klenke speaking about GSIS

There will be time for questions, so come prepared to learn more about how other STEM organizations are coping and moving ahead. For the sake of bandwidth, all attendees will be automatically muted.  Questions can be input into the chat or you can raise your hand during the Q&A and be unmuted.

PLEASE NOTE: This meeting will be conducted on Zoom but it will NOT be recorded.

There is no cost to attend this online forum. We hope to see you there!
