This question is for academic libraries that provide workshops/classes/non-credit-bearing courses to their students. Does your library charge students for workshops? If so:
- In what type of academic library do you work?
- What is the reasoning behind your library's decision to charge students for workshops?
- What types of workshops do you charge students for, and what types do you not charge students for, and why?
- How much do you charge students for workshops?
- Where do the funds gained through the workshops go?
- How has this been received by students, librarians, administration, etc.?
- Do you charge any other populations for workshops? (i.e. faculty, alumni, visitors, etc.); if so , how much?
- Is there anything else you can share?
Thanks!
