This webinar offers a behind-the-scenes look at the publishing process, from manuscript submission to peer review and beyond. Led by two editors from a leading open-access library and information studies journal, the session will explain some of the key stages of publishing, including selecting the right journal, preparing a strong submission, and understanding editorial workflows.
Participants will gain insights into how to engage constructively with peer reviewers, interpret feedback, and revise manuscripts effectively. The webinar also explores the art of writing thoughtful, balanced peer review reports-an essential skill for librarians who serve as peer reviewers or plan to do so in the future. This session will provide practical strategies, real-world examples, and tips for getting more comfortable and confident with submitting your manuscripts and refining your peer review practice.
