    We're extending the deadline to submit a proposal for the 2024 Library Assessment Conference, to be held in Portland, Oregon, on Thursday–Saturday, November 7–9.  Preconference workshops will be offered Wednesday, November 6.

    The conference builds and supports the wide-reaching community of library assessment practitioners and researchers who have responsibility or interest in this broad field. The multi-day event is a mix of invited speakers, workshops, and contributed papers and posters that stimulate discussion and provide actionable ideas for practitioners.

    FINAL Submission Deadline

    The new deadline to submit proposals is Monday, March 11, 2024 (11:59 p.m. Hawaii–Aleutian standard time (UTC-10:00).

    Proposal requirements vary by format. Please review the detailed information on the Call for Proposals website in preparing submission(s).  The conference will be in-person only. Accepted presenters are expected to attend the conference in person and pay the registration fee.

    About the Library Assessment Conference

    The Association of Research Libraries and the University of Washington Libraries co-host the Library Assessment Conference. This biennial event brings together 400+ members of the library profession to build and further a vibrant library assessment community. The conference attracts practitioners and researchers working in the broad fields of library assessment, user experience, and organizational performance measurement.
