Purpose:
We are excited to announce that we are now accepting additional volunteers for the Connecticut Academic Library Conference (CALC) Committee!
Join us as our newly re-branded conference opens up to a broader audience (formerly the Connecticut Information Literacy Conference) within Academic Libraries. We now welcome all new, upcoming topics that fall under the Academic Libraries umbrella. This includes, but is not limited to Reference & User Services, Information Literacy, Technical Services, etc. While information Literacy has been our sole purpose in previous years, we invite librarians from every area of Academic Libraries to join the CALC planning committee!
Mission:
The mission of the Connecticut Academic Libraries Conference is to provide professional development opportunities that encompass new and innovative practices, methods, and standards, in all areas of academic libraries to grow and enhance their skills, including information literacy and effectively promote life-long learning in the state of Connecticut.
Community:
Connect with fellow members in Connecticut on innovative topics related to academic higher education. We are an undemanding, engaging, professional group that is passionate about curating the latest topics within libraries and institutions and sharing those topics with all relatable professionals.
