    All:

    Hope everyone is having a good week.

    One of the goals in the 2023-24 "Work Plan" is to offer more "ad hoc" programming to Chapters Council members. As many of you are aware, we normally have  a guest speaker at the twice-annual meetings of Chapters Council members who presents on a timely and relevant topic in academic librarianship or a related field. We would like to offer more of these opportunities throughout the year, however.

    If you have an idea for a topic or a speaker, or if you would be interested in giving a presentation yourself, please let me know, at eedwards@ilsos.gov. Either solo presentations or panel presentations would be acceptable. Additionally, if you know of a topic or speaker who would be appropriate for the next Chapters Council membership meeting, which will take place online sometime in January, most likely--please watch for details in the coming weeks--let me know that, also.
