Has your chapter undertaken a particularly interesting or unique project or initiative recently that you think other state and regional chapters would find relevant? Did you miss the chance to submit an article on the project for the Spring issue of the Chapter Topics Newsletter, but would still have an interest in sharing it with your Chapters Council colleagues? Consider submitting a presentation proposal for the upcoming webinar on unique or interesting projects by state and regional chapters!
Similar to the webinar that took place last February, the upcoming webinar will last an hour-and-a-half. The date and time are still to be determined, but the webinar will take place in mid-June, after the Chapters Council summer membership meeting on Friday, June 7. Each presentation will last 15-20 minutes, with time for questions immediately afterwards. Slides are welcome as a way to explain key points or concepts and show the program or initiative "in action".
If you would be interested in presenting on your chapter's activities, please send a title and a one-paragraph abstract to Eric Edwards, ACRL Chapters Council Chair, at eedwards@ilsos.gov by Wednesday, May 29. Depending on the number of proposals, we should be able to accommodate all of the ones that meet the requirements. Please direct any questions to my e-mail address.
