Digital Badges Interest Group

The ACRL Digital Badges Interest Group (DBIG) is looking for an Incoming Convener to serve a three-year term starting July 2026! We work together to maintain the DBIG libguide, post updates about professional development opportunities, offer guidance on terminology and tools, and host virtual presentations where invited speakers share their expertise and experiences with micro-credentialing. Recently, we also distributed a survey to our 200+ members to help guide future programming, so there's lots of room for expansion and new ideas! This is a great opportunity for anyone who has an interest in digital badging and is looking for a service opportunity that allows for collaborative leadership with a light workload. ALA and ACRL membership is required.
