Assisting Multilingual Learners with Systematic Reviews

    Hello:

I recently met with a multilingual student working on a systematic review.  I think systematic reviews can be complicated to understand for native speakers and am concerned that there may have been some language barriers.  A colleague and I tried to explain the process and concepts clearly and shared a library guide containing written directions, as well as videos.  Do any of you have experience working with multilingual learners on evidence synthesis projects (e.g. systematic reviews)?  If so, were there some resources or strategies you found useful?  Please feel free to respond to me directly (elm522@lehigh.edu).

Thanks in advance for your suggestions,
    Elizabeth
