We are pleased to offer a virtual, hands-on training over two half-days on R, RStudio and litsearchr. This free training will be held September 18-19, 2023 from 9am-12:30 pm EDT / 1pm-4:30pm BST (UTC +1). Applications are now open and will be open until August 21st. This training is designed to introduce librarians and information specialists to the R programming language using RStudio, with a particular focus on using R for evidence synthesis. Thus, the audience for this training is information specialists and librarians actively involved in supporting or conducting evidence synthesis. litsearchr is an R package designed to assist in term harvesting and search strategy development. You will gain hands-on experience with these tools, providing a foundation for building your skills, automating aspects of search strategy development and generating reproducible code for evidence synthesis projects.
