Hope this finds you well. We are writing to share our programming for this semester and hope you will be able to join us. Everyone's voice and contributions are welcome and important, and we hope you all continue to stay engaged in this community. These are suggestions we have come up with based on feedback from some of you. Please feel free to reach out anytime to share topics for discussion or activities you would like to see the group engaged in.
For Spring 2025 (January- June 2025) here's what we have planned.
- BYOA- Bring Your Own Article- Monday, February 10, 2025- 2pm ET.
We are repeating the same event we had last year where each of us brought in one article we had read on libraries and international students and shared with the group. It could be a research article or opinion based article. Be prepared to:
- Summarize the article for the group or your breakout room
- Discuss briefly how the article has informed your work with international students and/or how the article could inform our work with international students
- Consider adding to the ALSIS Shared Zotero Library.
