ACRL/AASLIG Liaison Position Open

  • 1.  ACRL/AASLIG Liaison Position Open

    Posted Jun 11, 2023 06:06 PM

    Hello Colleagues,

I am the Incoming Convener for the African American Studies Interest Group for 2023-2024. For the past year I have served as the ACRL/AASLIG Liaison to the Association for the Study of African American Life and History.  The position requires that the librarian interact with the assigned scholarly association, usually by attending the annual conference and participating in some role.  ACRL funds the travel via a grant and the Liaison is expected to file a report about the conference participation.  The Liaison should be a member of ACRL and AASLIG.
