    The ALA Virtual Communities and Libraries Member Interest Group and the ACRL Virtual Worlds Interest Group are having a joint discussion group meeting at the ALA Conference in San Diego.

    Time and Place is:

    Saturday, January 8, 2011 - 4:00pm - 5:30pm
    Location: Hilton San Diego Bayfront (HIL)
    Indigo 202 A

    Anyone is welcome to attend in San Diego or virtually in Second Life.  A group will be meeting inworld at the ACRL headquarters on ALA Island.  If attending in Second Life, IM Abbey Zenith for the location.

    Members of these groups are active in the virtual world of Second Life and sponsor and participate in Second Life programs and events frequently.  Group members also explore other virtual worlds with strong educational components.
