  • 1.  ACRL Plan for Excellence Implementation Reports Due July 19

    Dear ACRL Chapter Leaders,

    On behalf of the ACRL Board, I would like to thank you for the contributions your chapter has made in advancing the ACRL Plan for Excellence during the 2023–2024 membership year. We now need your help documenting ACRL's accomplishments over the past year. Thank you for ensuring that the work of your chapter is properly represented.

    By Friday, July 19, please use the online form to report the activities, programs and initiatives that your chapter carried out in support of the ACRL Plan for Excellence from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.  

    All ACRL chapters should submit a PFE report each year.

    Suggestions for preparing your report:

    1. Please review the ACRL Plan for Excellence before submitting your chapter's report to ensure you select the strategic objective that best matches your chapter's activities/programs/initiatives.
    2. This report should cover unit activities/programs/initiatives completed July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.
    3. Please review the Plan for Excellence Implementation Report template. Note: This PDF is for reference purposes only. Unit reports must be submitted into the online form. 

    Submitting your report:

          1. Submit responses through the online form. 

          2. Please do not report the same activity/program/initiative more than once. While an activity may fit into multiple areas, please select the area it best matches.

          3. If you do not have any activities to report for a specific strategic objective, it's okay to simply leave that section blank.

          4. Reports should be submitted by Friday, July 19. In advance of the fall strategic planning meeting in the fall, staff will share synthesized reports to this listserv.

    Need a starting point? You can review your unit's 2022 and 2023 reports in the Board Manual LibGuide.

    Dear Ms. Griffin:

    Thank you very much for the reminder. To check, is it the responsibility of the outgoing chair to put together and submit the report? Also, to confirm, is the deadline Friday, July 19, or Monday, July 15, as the template indicates the latter?

    As a separate question, are chapters required to submit a workplan for FY2025, and, if so, what is the deadline for that?
