  • 1.  ACRL IRIG virtual meeting - Call for proposals

    In lieu of meeting at ALA Midwinter, the ACRL Image Resources Interest Group will be holding a virtual meeting this January (date to be determined; won't conflict with Midwinter for those attending). We will offer a short program followed by chat-based discussion and business meeting, and we welcome your ideas and contributions. Presentation topics of interest include:

    • Collaborating with other departments or staff
    • Developing interdisciplinary image collections
    • Supporting faculty or students in using images
    • Image cataloging and metadata
    • Needs assessment or advocacy case studies


    Please submit a brief description of your proposed topic to Joanna Burgess and Shilpa Rele, IRIG conveners, by Monday, November 8, 2010.
