Charge: The composition and the duties of the Board of Directors are defined in Article IX of the ACRL Bylaws: Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall have general oversight and direction of the affairs of the Association. It shall conduct all business pertaining to the Association, and shall have authority to make decisions for the Association during the periods between meetings.

    Dear ACRL Board,

     

    Please see the attached agendas and documents packet for next week's ACRL Fall Board Update and ACRL Fall Board Virtual Meeting. For easier browsing, each document is bookmarked within the PDF and a Document Inventory is included on pages 10-11. Please note that while the packet is over 400 pages, the committee reports and work plans have been included as FYI documents, which can be found on pages 174-454.

     

    Guests are welcome to attend the Board meetings, as all meetings of the ACRL Board of Directors are open, except when discussions affecting the privacy of individuals, institutions, or the association are held.

    Hello Board Members,
    I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at our Board meetings next week. Ahead of our meeting on Oct. 11, I want to draw your attention specifically to Board Doc 3.0, the Board Action Form for the proposed Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Goal and Objectives. Your pre-meeting review of this document will ensure that our discussion is productive during our somewhat limited time and that we're ready to take action. You will also find it helpful to review the Five-Year Goals and Objectives of our current GACs in our Plan for Excellence, Board FYI-1.
