2/2 Call for ALA 2026 Panelists - AI Beyond the Hype: Showcasing How Library Professionals Use Generative AI

  • 1.  2/2 Call for ALA 2026 Panelists - AI Beyond the Hype: Showcasing How Library Professionals Use Generative AI

    Hi everyone,

We have all heard the predictions about how generative artificial intelligence (AI) will change how we do our work. But, as your RUSA ETS Programming committee, we know now it's time to have a real discussion about how it's going. Whether you are implementing an AI search tool for your library catalog, using AI to write the code to build the app you always wanted, using generative AI to make your library services more accessible, or otherwise using generative AI to solve a problem facing your patrons, we want to hear how YOU have been experimenting with and using generative AI in libraries. Let us know if you would like to be part of our panel during the 2026 ALA Annual Conference by answering our Call for Panelists by February 2nd at 12 pm EST. Thank you for considering this and we hope to see you this summer at ALA!
