    Good afternoon everyone.

You've likely seen this in one or another of ALA's channels, but in case not, I wanted to share and ask that YOU share information about recruiting the next cohort of Policy Corps members: https://www.ala.org/news/press-releases/2021/10/ala-seeks-applicants-national-policy-corps

Feel free to share this blurb or one like it with your networks:

ALA invites library advocates to apply online to join the fourth cohort of the ALA Policy Corps. The Corps initiative aims to strengthen advocacy related to key national library policy areas such as broadband equity, copyright/licensing, federal funding and more. ALA will recruit up to 12 participants with diverse representation from across library types and geographies. Participants will deepen policy advocacy expertise and networks; create or enhance the skill set needed to impact legislation and policy; mentor others on a given policy issue of interest; participate in a cohort to share challenges and successes; and ultimately impact national, state, and local policymaking. The deadline for applications is Dec. 1, 2021.

You can also share ALA's social media posts:

    Thanks!
    Kara
