    The ACRL Chapters Council is seeking nominations for the role of Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect and Secretary. Elections will take place on Friday, June 24th at 8:30-10AM EST at the ALA 2022 Conference in Washington DC.

    The Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect and Secretary are elected by the Chapters Council at its meetings during the Annual Conference, the choice being made from among the Chapters Council delegates. The Council Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect serves as Chair during their second year on the Council, and as Past Chair during their third year.

    Chapters Council meets at the ALA Annual Conference and Midwinter Meeting, holding both a Council meeting and a work session.

    Prospective candidates need to be president (chair), vice-president (vice-chair) or a delegate who is a member of the executive board of their ACRL chapter.

    Self nominations are encouraged and be sure to ask permission before nominating another. Deadline to submit is due by Friday, June 3, 2022.
