    SMU Libraries seeks to hire two full-time Teaching and Learning Librarians as part of a dynamic instructional team. These two positions will focus on the social sciences, with one position for anthropology, sociology, psychology, and counseling.

     

    SMU Libraries supports the academic and research goals of faculty and students through a team-based approach. Our Teaching Team and our Research Team are actively building a portfolio of services for faculty in an environment with strong university support and creative leadership. Our vision is for a seamless experience for faculty to engage with a cross-organizational team of information professionals across university departments.

     

    Reporting directly to the Director of Educational Initiatives, both Teaching and Learning Librarian positions will create and deliver innovative instruction services through collaborative groups including the Teaching Team, Online Learning Team, LibApps Team, LibChat Team, Collections Teams, and Instructional Design Team.
