We have to submit our work plan to the Board by July 15. We should have a conference call in the near future to revise, refine, etc. these goals. These goals are associated with the SMART goals we defined last year; you can review the SMART Goals in a post in Connect. Attached to this post are the Annual Work Plan template and timeline. The larger WP document has the goals below inserted as a working draft.
At the Annual conference, we discussed goals for the year including:
1. Draft 2011 Legislative Agenda, continuing to confer and collaborate with committees such as Chapters Council and Copyright
2. Revise Advocate program application
3. Draft Position Vacancy for intern or part time staffer to assist with creating the online community for the Advocates program
4. Have increased visibility for Advocates Program via online community or other mechanism
5. Create and maintain list of Congressional committees that deal with certain issues
6. Continue to recruit advocates, targeting districts from which members of Congressional Committees dealing with certain issues reside
7. Collaborate with such groups as PLA on possible ACRL National Conference poster session or round table
