Become an ANSS Officer! Nominations due Aug 16th

  • 1.  Become an ANSS Officer! Nominations due Aug 16th

    Posted Jul 30, 2021 08:59 AM
ANSS' Nominating Committee is accepting nominations--including self-nominations!--to run for the following elected ANSS offices, which will become vacant at the close of the 2022 ALA Annual Conference:

    • Vice-Chair (3-year term)
    • Member-at-Large (2-year term)

If you or anyone you know may be interested in running for either of the above offices on the ANSS/ACRL ballot for the 2022 elections, please contact a member of the Nominating Committee (info below) by Monday, August 16, 2021.

Details about the responsibilities of these offices can be found in the ANSS Manual for Officers, Chairs and Committee Members, but please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have (some expectations have been modified in light of the pandemic).  Both of these offices represent a terrific opportunity to take on a leadership role in ANSS and becomes a member of the section's Executive Committee.  Happy to discuss further with anyone interested!

Wishing everyone a restful and restorative remainder of the summer.

    Best,
Jill, on behalf of the ANSS Nominating Committee
