    Dear colleagues,

This is a reminder of a study participation opportunity. We are conducting an exploratory study to identify how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the hiring and onboarding of employees in professional academic library positions in the United States between March 2020-present. As part of the research, we have developed a survey to be completed by hiring managers.

Your participation in the study via survey completion is requested if you served in the role of hiring manager, including human resources staff, library administrative staff, search committee chair, or library supervisor, for hiring new employees in professional library positions.

If the criteria above do not apply to you, please forward this study invitation to the individual(s) who have served as hiring managers at your library since March 2020.

The survey has 29 multiple choice questions and 6 short answer questions. It will take participants approximately 10-20 minutes to fill out. The survey will close on February 7, 2022:
