Are you looking for more ways to take your state and local advocacy to the next level? To grow your network and skills while expanding the reach and impact of your advocacy for digital inclusion, library funding, balanced copyright and digital licensing, and more? If so, we encourage you to consider joining the ALA Policy Corps! You can also hear from Policy Corps members and ALA policy staff during virtual office hours on Monday, November 22, 1 p.m. EST.
Now inviting applications for its fourth cohort, the ALA Policy Corps brings together library advocates from across library types and geographies to strengthen and expand advocacy related to key national library policy areas. Program participants will deepen policy advocacy expertise and networks; create or enhance the skill set needed to impact legislation and policy; mentor others on policy issues of interest; participate in a cohort to share challenges and successes; and ultimately impact national, state, and local policymaking for libraries and our communities.
