The ANSS Publications Committee is seeking a new website manager.
The ANSS website manager is responsible for maintaining and updating the ANSS website, including special announcements and regular publications from subcommittees (e.g. Cataloging Questions & Answers, Currents). The website manager also collects subcommittee minutes after the ALA Annual and Midwinter Conferences for publication on the website, keeps the list of Officers, Chairs, and Conveners updated, and posts information about upcoming conferences.
This position requires little to no coding experience, as most updates can be completed with WordPress's point-and-click visual text editor. ACRL IT offers technical support for more complicated issues, as the website is hosted on their servers. The website manager also collaborates with other members of the ANSS Publications Committee – including the chair, social media manager, and Currents editor.
This position is open because the current website manager is rolling off the committee. However, she will help the new website manager settle into their role, and will offer advice and technical support for several months after the transition.
