The Publisher/Vendor Relations Discussion Group of the ACRL Science & Technology Section invites you to join us at ALA Annual 2015 in San Francisco for:

The University Press: Navigating the Digital Publishing Landscape
    Saturday June 27th, 4:30pm – 5:30pm, Moscone Convention Center, 122N

University Presses play an essential role in STEM publishing and account for some of the world’s oldest scholarly publishing operations. While often thought of primarily as book publishers, many have long and well-established reputations in journal publishing as well. Please join us for a discussion of the future challenges and opportunities facing University Presses within the digital publishing environment.

    Panelists:

Neil Christensen, Director, Digital Business Development, University of California Press
Michael Magoulias, Director, Journals, University of Chicago Press
Damon Zucca, Publisher, Digital Reference, Oxford University Press

The panel moderator is Scott Warren, Interim Associate Dean for Research and Scholarship at Syracuse University Libraries.
