There was a good column about student retention in today's Inside Higher Ed.
As I look at the list of the various strategies I am thinking "which are the ones where academic librarians can make a difference".
Personalized service. Participation in learning analytics. Alternate textbook and OER projects. Support for online students.
I think there are more than a few ways where we can have an impact.
I'm just not sure the folks in other academic offices perceive us as having a role in retention.
