University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Libraries is hiring a Social Sciences Librarian to support the university goals to be excellent in inter-disciplinary research and graduate highly educated individuals at all degree levels. Working under the leadership of the Research Services Lead, position responsibilities include providing effective delivery of instruction and consultations to students, staff and faculty; engaging in academic outreach to assigned departments; and contribution to programming to educate graduate students and faculty on established and emerging practices in scholarly communication. This position is expected to provide excellent customer service in a professional manner and serve as a model representative of UWM and the Libraries.
