I have a strong research background with degrees in journalism and library science. I concentrated on reference services, archives and preservation for my MLS degree. I am a volunteer reference librarian for the Internet Public Library, where I have answered questions ranging from family histories to the religious leanings of past U.S. presidents to 1950s railway motorcars. I've also performed research for the Caroline County (Md.) Historical Society and the Easton (Md.) 300th Anniversary planning committee.
