I have a BS in English Education, a MA in English Literature, and a MLIS. Before joining libraryland, I was a high school English teacher for 5 years. I currently work as the Technology Engagement Librarian at OLPL and was previously the ebook trainer/coordinator for eRead Illinois. While my professional life revolves mainly around technology, I am also a passionate supporter of comics and graphic novels in libraries. I am part of the organizing team that migrated the Graphic Novels & Comics MIG into a RT and have organized and run the C2E2 Pop-Up Library over the last few years.
