    Please reply/post a comment in this thread to indicate your interest in this topic and willingness to sign the paper membership/interest form as currently required in the rules to officially create the LITA Mobile Computing Interest Group.

    Thanks for your interest, everyone!

    Dale Poulter and I are planning to have an honest-to-goodness dead tree IG petition at the LITA Happy Hour at Annual. With any luck the need for a paper petition will have been obviated by then, but I hope to see you all there regardless.

    and Cody makes 8 (and Dale makes 9) so, in my view, we have attained the necessary 8 members (assuming all 8 respondents to this post are LITAns) to satisfy the by-laws requirements for a new IG and we should start IGing :)

    I'm bringing my new Netbook to ALA conference and plan to play. I need to be free to roam, not tied to a desk.  Add my name to the interest form.
