The mission of the International Relations Round Table is to promote interest in library issues and librarianship worldwide; to help coordinate international activities within ALA, serving as a liaison between the International Relations Committee and those members of the Association interested in international relations; to develop programs and activities which further the international objectives of ALA; and to provide hospitality and information to visitors from abroad.

2024 Call for Posters-ALA Annual Conference in San Diego, California

Dear Colleagues,

The ALA IRRT International Poster Session Committee invites submissions for Poster Sessions at the 2024 ALA Annual Conference & Exhibition, to be held in San Diego, CA, June 27 – July 2, 2024. 


Submissions are also invited from librarians in the US on any topic relevant to international populations, projects, and collaborations. All posters may highlight incubation and implementation of projects and initiatives including but not limited to proposal development, funding, formation of project teams and lessons learned; a research study; or a practical problem-solving effort. 

The poster proposal submission site will close on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 11:59 PM Eastern. You must create a username and password for the site before starting your proposal.

Early registration opens in early February! Save money when you become an ALA member and register for the conference. ALA’s new rate for international librarians is $58 USD!
