Understanding & Implementing the AACSB Business Library Checklist

This session will introduce participants to the role of libraries and librarians in AACSB accreditation and the development of the AACSB Business Library Checklist. The checklist, created by Ilana Stonebraker and Anna Dulin Milholland and published in Ticker: The Academic Business Librarianship Review, provides a structured guide for business librarians to engage with accreditation processes effectively.
Participants will:

Gain an understanding of how AACSB accreditation standards have evolved to explicitly include libraries and librarians.

Learn the purpose and structure of the AACSB Business Library Checklist, which outlines key areas of librarian engagement, including relationship-building, curriculum support, research engagement, and administrative contributions.
