The ACRL EBSS Online Learning Research Committee is looking for speakers for a webinar focusing on the creation of online library instructional materials and current related trends. This call may extend into a webinar series. Some topics might include:
- What academic libraries are doing to meet the needs of online learners
- Integration of content into LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, etc.)
- Communication and collaboration with faculty
- OER
- Videos
- Tutorials
- Pre-made content - CREDO, Academic Writer, LinkedIn Learning
- The increase of online instruction content, such as online information literacy modules
- Roles of jobs related to online content, change in job description or duties
- Sustainability of online learning materials
- Inclusivity or accessibility in creation of online learning materials
- Reception of online learning materials, replacement of face to face instruction with online instruction
We plan to create a repository of resources/summary sheet to share with all attendees.
This webinar will take place in late February or early March and will be 60 minutes including Q&A, so each presentation will be between 10 and 15 mins. We invite you to apply to be considered as a webinar presenter. Please complete the proposal form. We will be accepting proposals until December 15th.
