The mission of the International Relations Round Table is to promote interest in library issues and librarianship worldwide; to help coordinate international activities within ALA, serving as a liaison between the International Relations Committee and those members of the Association interested in international relations; to develop programs and activities which further the international objectives of ALA; and to provide hospitality and information to visitors from abroad.

    Feeling unsure about how to navigate the ALA Annual Conference and host city of San Diego? Want to win fabulous prizes in a FREE lottery drawing? Then attend the International Librarians Orientation session to get the insider's view of everything you need to know for a successful conference. ALA president Emily Drabinski, IRRT Chair Mark Mattson, and IFLA President Vicki McDonald will welcome attendees, and Past ALA President Patricia Glass Schuman, along with others, will deliver tips and valuable information about the conference and local must-see places. 

    The International Librarians Orientation will be held on Friday, June 28th from 2:00 - 3:30PM, Room 30 A B C D E of the Convention Center. We look forward to seeing you there!
