The mission of the International Relations Round Table is to promote interest in library issues and librarianship worldwide; to help coordinate international activities within ALA, serving as a liaison between the International Relations Committee and those members of the Association interested in international relations; to develop programs and activities which further the international objectives of ALA; and to provide hospitality and information to visitors from abroad.

    Description:   This webinar will focus on the unique points that promote student success and position National University of Singapore Libraries (NUS Libraries) as a distinct academic library in Southeast Asia. Experiences range from technology-enhanced learning for the masses, to repatriating collections from colonial times and even housing the first 360imx cylinder among Singapore academic institutions.  Gain insights into:  

    • Transformation of libraries to support students' success through special collections, digital strategy and innovation, placemaking and educational partnerships; 
    • Partnering students as co-creators of library programs and activities; and
    •  How libraries can facilitate interdisciplinary partnerships for student success.
